Growing up in a tropical country we always opt out for a weekend trips to the beach, do anything under the sun( well it’s summer all year long). Moving to Canada made me realize how lucky I was back home having been privileged to a warm weather. I already feel the cold air at night, almost like sending me a warning to be prepared for the next season change to come.
So summer is almost fading and my chap wants me to feel better and decided to head up north for the cottage life. At first I was hesitant “beach in canada? Really?” hahahaha
and here goes my first Beach trip
And I wasn’t dissapointed
After 2 hours of road trip from the city we reached WASAGA BEACH . It was busy.
Lots of store to chose from, I was very excited and can’t wait to head down the beach, so I have to postponed the shopping adventure. ( laters baby… )
walking around the main beach, It feels like a Canadian version of KARON BEACH in Phuket minus the coconut trees.
They were alot of bikers to around the area. and the Beach was very busy so we opt out to head more east side of the beach and find our own spot.
after 10mnts of walking we finally found our own solitude.
It was peaceful and relaxing away from the noise of the main beach.
Such a blessed beautiful day.
My own private spot facing the view of the beach
a moment of silence and it feels like home.
and I was able to catch up on my readings too.
I always love being near the water it calms my senses. The warm weather, the breeze coming from the fresh water and the sound of the wind soothes me. I think I was staring out for awhile before I realized it.
It was a perfect day for the last few weeks of summer..
I don’t want it to end.
and it’s time to go to head down the beach and try out the water.
and I met couple of new friends, some birds chilling out facing the water. even them want’s to enjoy the last summer days.
and so I made a heart for my chap.
guilty as I am as I haven’t been serious with my workout and diet. I did some push up. hahaha which reminds me to start my MEAL PREP by next week.
and it almost time to go home, gotta run early back home to avoid the traffic , everyone coming home from the cottage life.
and one last look…
and off we go…
Such a beautiful scenery on the way home. I have seen so many things that showcase how beautiful this side of the country is. It’s very peaceful. I also saw some animals on the side of the road, I think it was a zoo or a place where they breed foreign animals. I didn’t get to take a photo as we were moving fast. But I was able to see some camels and zebra.
and few hours later I was back in my home very dreamy and I slept so well for the weekdays to come.
