Playa Del Carmen, Mexico

Playa Del Carmen, Mexico

On our 3rd day in Playa del Carmen, We decided to explore their downtown area. Coming from our hotel we took a taxi and paid about $50usd back and forth with about 20 minutes each ride. We finally decided to do some movement and not just eat and drink in our hotel.

Here are some snaps I took while walking around their downtown. I keep hearing old latino music in the background mixed with people talking in spanish, I like to be lost in translation. The air was hot and humid, totally gonna ruin your make up if you put some on, so I suggest a light make up or none at all! Totally just be you!

We also got our tour for our 6th day here in the market. It’s much cheaper than rate in the hotels. Way way cheaper! If youre curious we got the TULUM RUINS-CENOTE CARACOL-AKUMAL.

I also went a little bit crazy over their shops!

I really wanted to take home these babies but I have no more room in my luggage! Also it’s a good reason to come back! ha!

I also met a few local musicians who serenaded me with some spanish song and sang beautifully with the harp and guitar.

It so beautiful just by looking the buildings they have.

After an hour or so of walking we found a spot at their beach front.

And stayed for for about 30 minutes, just frolicking on the beach and admiring the ocean and listening to the waves as people pass by us.

After 4pm it was time to go back to the hotel and well eat some more food at the restaurant!

This time I tried the shrimp and mango ceviche with coconut milk.

And my favorite deep fried shrimp with chipotle sauce tacos.

After a long day at the town center and alot of food, we passed out in our bed and woke up late for the rehearsal dinner! yikes Good thing our bride was easy going and nice!

Ciao see you on the next mexican adventure!

It’s a shame you didn’t get the plates! Crockery or kitchen stuff are my favourite kinds of souvenirs, thing I’ll actually use. Great photos though & hopefully you can return soon to buy them haha

These are such great travel photos. Love them! I’ve never been to Playa del Carmelo but the shops remind me of Puerto Vararta. I already miss white sand beaches. Makes me want to return to Cuba soon too.
