Memories Cayo Sta.Maria

Memories Cayo Sta.Maria

Day 1 has been a real treat! The foam party is a must do in this hotel. We stayed at Memories Azul Cayo Sta Maria and booked it thru iTravel2000 .

Our second day at the hotel was consist of just frolicking at the beach and reading our favorite books while sipping piña colada and mojito, oh boy they make the best mojito!, serving it fresh to you, whether by the beach or at the hotel lobby.

Internet in Cuba is real hard. You have to be in a designated area and it’s 2 US dollars per hour. but their rate for Canadian at that time was 100CAD-68CUC(US). And you can’t access everything. I can’t use Snapchat while I was here. Talk about Internet/Social Media detox.

After breakfast ( I had 2 fried eggs, hot chocolate ( My Favorite!) and some cheese tortilla and washed down with lots of fresh pineapples sprinkled with some sea salt) we decided to make our way to the beach to find a good spot.

And started reading Dark Places by Gillian Flynn. I was hooked right away.

Everytime I go to the deeper side of the sea and get on my floater, water keeps drifting me back to shore in less than 1 minute. Talk about a good work out of going back and forth.

I had so much that day just hanging around at the beach listening to the waves and some cuban music too and of course to my man who I will never get tired of spending time away forever.

I seriously want to visit Cuba SO bad, from what I’ve been seeing, it really is gorgeous! I kind of like the idea of not being on my phone all the time, forcefully, it makes you really focus on living in the moment, enjoying the full experience and beauty! I love your off the shoulder dress, as well as your bathing suit; you looked like such a beach babe! Thanks so much for sharing and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
