Planning an adventure to Europe and looking for tips to make your trip ultra-memorable? This post is for you! I first heard about the American Express Platinum Card and its amazing benefits sometime last year through a friend that had one. It had been my goal to get one this year and after applying for one, it truly changed the way I travel. It’s a Card that fits my lifestyle perfectly. I have broken down some of the benefits of the Card below and I’m sharing some tips that helped me travel to Iceland, Rome and London, where I stayed at one of the most luxurious hotels in the city for free.

Grab a cup of tea as this one is a bit long but a very necessary read if you’re looking to maximize your travel experiences in 2019!

REWARD POINTS: As a new Member I was able to earn 50,000 points just by spending $3,000 in the first 3 months. In less than a year, I earned enough points to cover the cost of my entire Iceland trip and a free stay at one of the most luxurious hotels in London. I also received a $200 Annual Travel Credit which I used to rent a car while in Iceland, see photos from my adventure below!

CLOUD 10 @ TORONTO PEARSON AIRPORT: Don’t you just hate when the lineup at the security checkpoint is super long? With my Amex Platinum Card I’m able to jump the line and use the Priority Access Lane for both international and domestic flights. I used my Priority Pass  and took advantage of the American Express Global Lounge Collection and relaxed with a pre-flight cappuccino before I boarded for London.

TRAVEL AND CONCIERGE: If you’re like me and not much of an organizer, the 24 hour Platinum Travel and Concierge will be your next best friend. They helped me so much in terms of scheduling my Europe hotel bookings, renting a car in Iceland, and even suggested a few fun things to do when I reached Rome.

Below are some of the highlights of my Europe trip and you can learn more about the benefits of being an American Express Cardmember HERE
