Feeling New Yorker in Toronto

Feeling New Yorker in Toronto

Toronto is the place to go when movies/T.V. shows shoots scenes about New York, Because of it’s resemblance to the famous place, besides that it’s cheaper to shoot the scenes here.

Some of the famous movies shot in Toronto that settings are supposed to be NYC, are ” Suicide Squad”, “The Incredible Hulk”, “American Psycho” , “Serendipity” , “Get rich or die tryin- biopic of 50 cent”, “How to lose a guy in 10 days”, and there’s so much more even the famous ” Mean girls” was shot here,  but not as NYC tho, but other part of the U.S. Actually most movies was shot in Canada. See Canada is better!

T.V Show like “Suits”  and others.

I have never been to New York, weird I know because I am half American. haha but I grew up in Asia and England. So let me show you around my mini piece of New York City in my home in Yorkville.

Did I mention how awesome this dress I found in Zara which resembles a Gucci dress, And the Flats which was an obvious knock off of Chanel Sling back shoes. This is why you can’t resist shopping at Zara. I also love this vintage small LV bag. Vintage LV are getting a come back at Hudson Bay.

It was such a nice beautiful fall day, The sun shines on my face, with a crisp cold air.

Feeling like a New Yorker. . .

I knew most movies (and shows) are shot in Canada and it’s been like that for quite a while and just like you I do think Canada is just a bit better (but don’t tell my American friends that, haha). Probably because it’s just so much like Sweden regarding the climate, both when it comes to nature as well as the people. What we DON’T have over here is a mini NYC though and that I’m envious of. Having lived in NY I couldn’t tell the difference from your shots really and how cool isn’t that. You should definitely go there someday soon! 🙂
    Thanks for a great post!

I’ve never been to Canada before and prior to connecting with Canadian bloggers like yourself, I really hadn’t seen much of what it’s like there. Well, other than Montreal, lol. This does look a lot like parts of NYC and Brooklyn especially. You have to visit sometime, you’d love it! As for your outfit, I adore that dress and it does indeed look A LOT like a Gucci design and those Chanel inspired sling backs also resemble the real thing. I know, Zara is amazing and their pieces are just so well made, too, so it’s not like you’re sacrificing quality to achieve the high-end look! Thanks so much for sharing, gorgeous, and I hope you have the most amazing week ahead!
