As I write this recipe, I’m already on my 10th day of my 6 week challenge of eating only Ideal Protein recommended diet , eating no bread, pasta and everything else with gluten. No fruits, No alcohol and combined it with a bootcamp 5x a week. So far I have lost 7lbs already and I can’t wait to show you the before and after!

Anyhoo this recipe was one of my favourite easy to prep meal growing up. I also tried using Walden Farms Mayo as my based for this recipe but it was a complete disaster, So I tried re doing it with a real mayonnaise. I didn’t like the consistency. A zero calorie Mayonnaise. Who can say no to a 0 calorie?so I went crazy and gave it a try. But then again this is a review post and I’ll be posting more about their product. I’m not really a big fan of Zero calorie/Fat free products as I believe their not real food just like fast foods and totally made in the lab.

Just looking at the photos right now makes me wanna cry! I miss bread! hahaha

WHAT WE NEED:

  • 2 boiled eggs ( make sure to take out the shell! )
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions
  • a pinch of salt or two
  • a pinch or two of ground black pepper
  • a tbsp of Mayonnaise
  • a handful of cucumber
  • 2 small cherry tomatoes
  • fresh cut onions ( just a little bit if you’re planning on going on a date after eating this)
  • 1 leaf of Iceberg lettuce
  • 2 slice of wheat bread ( I use Villagio Wheat Bread ) its so soft and lower calorie count than the others.

Ok let’s start. In a bowl (whatever you can find is good) put your boiled eggs,0 calorie mayonnaise,salt ‘n’ pepper,chopped green onions and mix everything till it look like a nice spread.

Cut your veggies, what I usually do is I cut all my vegetables ahead of time ( Sundays and Wednesday) so not only it saves me some time I get to finish all my vegetables intake too.

I don’t like my sandwich toasted , I like the chewy & soft gluten feeling that melts in my mouth. Now put your Iceberg lettuce on one side of your sandwich.

2 scoops of your egg ( this mixture makes two, you can either serve for another person or keep it in your fridge)

your cucumber, tomatoes and onions.

Now cover it and press it! I like it when everything’s intact.

You can serve it with your favourite chips or sliced carrots if your watching your calorie.

    Hey!! happy new year! Your blog is still doing great I see. How are you? You know I love a great weightloss success story so I hope you will soon share this new 6weeks plan of yours. Can’t wait to see photos because I really need to start mine I’m lacking motivation. Can you recommend or post your plan and reviews soooooon? Can I find the same plan online? Can anyone do it? Just Excited. Lol. Btw have you tried mayo-less TUNA sandwich? just as good. Ok then, until your next post review.

      Happy New Year!The ideal protein diet that Im doing is thru a pharmacy or a diet/wellness clinic. I really just recommend to find a bootcamp around your area and eat large amount of protein and vegetables, Not much on the fruits. Your diet should be clean, 55% Protein, 30% vegetables ( green leafy stuff) 10 % Carbs 5% Sugar. eat 4-5 times a day. Eat as much green leafy stuff if you can. 🙂 hope this helps
