When I moved to Canada, I wasn’t a fan of snow because I thought when it’s snowing it means cold. I was wrong! Snow is so beautiful and magical. Almost like a fairytale.
My good friend and I could say my blogger best friend @filipajackson, invited us to their beautiful place at Blue Mountain Ski Resort Village for New Year’s Eve I was so ecstatic. I mean who wouldn’t?
Sadly we could only stay overnight as I had so much stuff to do back downtown. I totally missed out on the Scandinavian spa and learning how to ski, (the line up for starting course was so long and I would probably need more days). That’s the mission before this Winter ends!
I also recently discovered Old Navy with their cute and affordable outfits. Hence the all white outfit which I think is so perfect for the snow.
We arrived at Blue Mountain at night time and I woke up to this the next morning. It was bittersweet, wishing I didn’t mix my drinks that night as I was suffering from an awful hangover. Well, the experience made it better like a dream if you know what I mean. lol (A little dizzy and cloudy)
And no I don’t drink coffee so I don’t think that will work, yet it will make it more worst. Please explain to me why COFFEE is life to people? It makes me paranoid, hurts my tummy and gives me palpitation and so much more anxiety. lol, I am weird.
Anyway, going back how gorgeous is this view? I know this is nothing compared to Canadian Rockies and Whistler but boy this is my first time in a ski resort.
This was the view from Filipa’s place..
We woke up extra early than the rest fo the crew to have a look around of the Resort.
and with a hot tea and croissant in hand (courtesy of Starbucks) we watched people skiing. It was also the first time for me to see people skiing, I was so amazed how they can do that. My best friend loves skiing and she goes to Switzerland in yearly basis to ski and have always invited me but I never came.
I did realise how much I am missing out in life. I need to do more adventure as well, we only live once and only young once! We need to seize the moments and stop dwelling in negative energy.
Looking out the all white snow made me realise more in life, and I can’t wait to share them with you.
The whole look is from OLD NAVY except for the boots who was from pajar given by one of my Gay friends! They always have the fun stuff to give. hahaha, It was so comfy, warm and well hairy. hahaha
I also can’t wait to try snow mobiling.
It was so cold, but I actually didn’t mind it. My eyes are so busy appreciating so much beauty wherever I look.
I can’t wait to go back and learn how to Ski and make the most of the Winter season in Canada.
