I’ve never been to Cambodia before even when I lived in Bangkok, Thailand for a few months. I’ve always been so curious about the temples and Angkor Wat ever since I watched Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider. It’s been a bucket list of mine to go and see this wonder of the world. It only makes sense to make a stop here while I’m in Asia. We planned a 5 days trip back in April before making our way to Bali. Park Hyatt is probably one of the prettiest hotels and had the most authentic feel to Siem Reap. I love this hotel with its modern design but still keeps the local feel of what Cambodia is all about.
My stay at this hotel was nothing but perfect. From the service, interior to food. Everything just feels so welcoming and every touch is so authentic and local. It’s also near to all the hotspot and just a few away from the temples.
Our room was situated in the oasis part of the resort with its private villa and a walkout pool near the spa. The room is so beautiful and I truly enjoyed my time at our pool during this time of the year. It was the hottest time of the year and visiting the temples are a bit pain but with the hotel’s amazing amenities you’ll truly feel comfortable escaping the crazy heat from exploring outside during the day. During night time you can enjoy the hotel’s dinner restaurants and shows. Every night they have something exciting and cultural to see. The food is also top Cambodian cuisine.
After a long day at the temples, we also got to enjoy the spa and its amenities. They have an amazing gym and the best Masseuse in town. It just perfects after a long day of walking.
Here are some of our moments at the hotel :
